Course Content

You won't be bogged down with lots of course work or case studies - our courses are designed to teach you the safe techniques for each  massage or beauty therapy with all the theory you need contained within a comprehensive course book. We will teach you all you need to know - professional etiquette, benefits, health and safety, contraindications and getting insured, as well as all the practical techniques, under close, constant supervision. This will ensure that, once qualified, you will practice in safe and professional manner and provide a service that is a credit to you and of enormous benefit to your clients.

Syllabus

All our holistic massage training courses begin with an informal but important run-through of your course notes, and there is plenty of opportunity to ask me questions.  All courses  include the following content:
  • Professional ethics
  • Client consultation and record keeping
  • Insurance options
  • Safety and hygiene
  • Possible contraindications to the treatment
  • Preparation of the client, room and supplies
  • Basic Anatomy and Physiology
  • Client aftercare

Course  time is spent for the most part on the practical aspects of the therapy being learnt, and all students are encouraged to undertake additional private study at home using their training manual and text books.

One-to-One Tuition

If you prefer to learn on your own we're happy to arrange one-to-one tuition if you can bring a practice partner with you.  Just ask for 0ne-to-one tuition when you call.

Mobile Tuition

For groups of four or more students we offer mobile tuition depending on your location, ideal for salons who'd like a group of staff trained. You will need to provide one chair per couple (with a low back and no arms) for the Indian Head Massage course, one chair per student for the Japanese Hand Massage course, and 0ne massage couch per two students  for the Thai Foot Massage and Eastern Facial Massage courses.  Please note that travel/accommodation expenses are extra.
