Course Content

You won't be bogged down with lots of course work or case studies - our courses are designed to teach you the safe techniques for each  massage or beauty therapy with all the theory you need contained within a comprehensive course book. We will teach you all you need to know - professional etiquette, benefits, health and safety, contraindications and getting insured, as well as all the practical techniques, under close, constant supervision. This will ensure that, once qualified, you will practice in safe and professional manner and provide a service that is a credit to you and of enormous benefit to your clients.

Syllabus

All our holistic massage training courses begin with an informal but important run-through of your course notes, and there is plenty of opportunity to ask me questions.  All courses  include the following content:

Professional ethics

Client consultation and record keeping

Insurance options

Safety and hygiene

Possible contraindications to the treatment

Preparation of the client, room and supplies

Basic Anatomy and Physiology

Client aftercare

Course  time is spent for the most part on the practical aspects of the therapy being learnt, and all students are encouraged to undertake additional private study at home using their training manual and text books.

CPD Points

Improving your skills and knowledge through Continuing Professional Development is the responsibility of every professional across all industries.  It is considered across all industries that CPD points, units and credits all relate to the same thing, CPD Hours. The definition of CPD Hours is the time spent for someone to be in “active learning”. Active learning defines the actual time spent learning something relevant for their Continuing Professional Development objectives. A great example of this would be 1-day accredited CPD training course. If the training starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm, with a 1-hour break for lunch, the CPD Hours would be 7.

Our courses are fully accredited for CPD points by IGCT.
